Sudafed Blocked Nose Spray is a nasal spray with Xylometazoline hydrochloride which works within minutes to relieve symptoms of a blocked nose allowing you to breathe easily. 

 

This non-drowsy metered dose lasts up to 10 hours making it perfect to keep your blocked nose clear throughout the day.

 

What is the active ingredient in Sudafed Blocked Nose Spray?

 

The active ingredient in Sudafed blocked nose spray is xylometazoline. Xylometazoline is a decongestant that works by reducing swelling in the nose and sinuses.

 

Warnings and Precautions

 

Not suitable for anyone under 12 years of age.

 

Do not use this product if:

 

  • You are allergic to any of the ingredients

  • You are taking an antidepressant known as a Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitor (MAOI)

  • You have recently had neurosurgery

  • You have had the pituitary gland removed

 

Speak to your GP or Pharmacist before use if:

 

  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding

How do I use Sudafed Blocked Nose Spray?

 

Directions:

 

ONE Spray into each nostril, TWO  to THREE times daily.

 

DO NOT give to children under 12 years old.

 

Do not use more than 3 doses in 24 hours.

 

 

What are the side effects of Sudafed Blocked Nose Spray?

 

Possible side effects:

 

  • Burning, soreness, dryness, stinging, or itching

  • Sneezing

  • Nausea

  • A headache

Long term-use may bring back congestion
